The Sydney Sixers have named a 15-player travelling squad for their New Year’s Day hit-out with the Brisbane Heat at The Gabba tomorrow night.
The two sides are set to meet for the first time in KFC BBL|13, headlining the New Year’s Day double-header with the superstars of the competition going head-to-head in one of the most anticipated matches of the year.
The Sixers head to Brisbane desperate to cement a win after being forced to share the points with rivals, Sydney Thunder last night in the Sydney Smash thanks to wayward weather.
Looking to defend 7-151, the Sixers were forced from the field after just four overs – one short of the five constituting a match.
First ball of Monday night’s match is scheduled for 6.15pm local (7.15pm AEDT) and will be broadcast live via Channel 7, Foxtel, Kayo and SEN radio.
