The Sydney Sixers have named an unchanged 13-player squad, ahead of Thursday afternoon’s meeting with the Brisbane Heat at North Sydney Oval.
The Sixers will host their Queensland rivals in a match that will see Amelia Kerr and Courtney Sippel face off against their former side for the first time since the pair swapped teal for pink this season.
Both sides currently sit tied on three wins and three losses after six matches, with each game proving more important than ever in the shortened season.
The Sixers will be looking to bounce back tomorrow afternoon, following a narrow defeat to crosstown rivals, Sydney Thunder on Sunday at the SCG.
The club can provide an update on injured pair Kate Peterson (shoulder) and Erin Burns (foot), with Peterson officially ruled out for the remainder of the tournament, while Burns has not yet commenced her return to play assessment and remains unlikely to play this season.
Sophie Ecclestone will also make her final appearance for the Sixers on Thursday before she departs for national duties with England.
First ball of Thursday afternoon’s match is scheduled for 3.30pm (AEDT) and will be broadcast live via Foxtel, Kayo and ABC Sport.
Gates will open at North Sydney Oval at 3.30pm.
