Sixers go head-to-head in NSW Premier Cricket

Dwarshuis had the best figures for Sutherland, taking 2/94 off 23 overs. Thornton was eight not out when Eastern Suburbs declared for 399.

Sixers Academy stars also made an impact over the weekend for their respective clubs. Baxter Holt scored impressive runs for Eastern Suburbs with 79 runs (94) where he smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes. Ben Manenti has continued his brilliant bowling form with 4/84 for Sydney CC. James Crosthwaite contributed to Manly’s total with 41 runs while Riley Ayre also top scored for Randwick with 40 runs.

The rest of the Sixers squad are currently competing in round three of the Sheffield Shield. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Jackson Bird are being rested for the upcoming Ashes series.
