The Sydney Sixers can provide an update on Alyssa Healy, Erin Burns and Maitlan Brown ahead of the opening weekend of Weber WBBL|10.
Scottish keeper-bat, Sarah Bryce will come into the squad for Erin Burns, who has been ruled out of the opening stage of the tournament as she manages a heel issue.
NSW pair, Elsa Hunter and Frankie Nicklin will also come into the squad ahead of the weekend, named as local replacements for Maitlan Brown and Alyssa Healy.
Brown is progressing well as she continues to work through a calf issue and will be reassessed following Sunday’s match against the Renegades in Adelaide.
Healy, who sustained a plantar fascia injury to her right foot during the T20 World Cup a fortnight ago, will continue to be monitored closely as she returns to training.
The Australian captain and Sixers stalwart is unavailable for the Sixers first two matches against the Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers on Sunday and Tuesday, respectively.
The Sixers will begin their Weber WBBL|10 season on Sunday, October 27 at Adelaide Oval.
