The man affectionately known as SOK is back in magenta!
The left-arm finger spinner drew the curtain on a magnificent 15-year First Class career for the NSW Blues in April 2020, but in wonderful news for Sixers fans confirmed he will continue to play Big Bash.
Throughout his First Class career, with the red ball, he claimed 301 wickets and in nine BBL campaigns has replicated that type of form.
During the BBL|09 success, O’Keefe played nine matches and claimed seven wickets, but it was when he claimed those wickets that was of real importance.
During his decorated career for the Blues and Australia, O’Keefe famously claimed 6-35 in each innings against India in Pune in February 2017.
His continued presence in the squad offers a wealth of experience and guidance to emerging spinners.
