Following several years of hard work and persistence, the 2019/20 season marked Sean Abbott’s return to Australian colours and was capped off with a Big Bash title.
In November 2019, the fast bowler played his first International match in five years. Abbott taking the field in a T20 International against Pakistan at Perth Stadium, taking two wickets and claiming the Man of the Match award.
He was also an integral part of the NSW Blues squad that claimed the Sheffield Shield in 2019/20.
It followed a wonderfully successful 12 months that saw him awarded the 2018/19 Steve Waugh Medal as the best Male Player in NSW.
We look forward to another season of sustained success for this tremendously talented paceman in BBL|12!
