Batter
Silk originally hails from Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains on the western fringes of Sydney, and made the move to Tasmania in 2012, now calling the Apple Isle home.
He enters BBL|12 fourth on the all-time list of leading run-scorers for the Sixers. Silk has tallied 1,138 runs at a strike rate well above a run every ball.
Silk also has more than 1,000 runs to his name against the white ball in 50-over cricket.
He is renowned for his exploits in the field, taking two astonishing catches against the Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder in BBL|03 and BBL|04.
His bullet-like arm is also just as lethal for any batsmen brave enough to take it on!
Described as the best fielder in Australia by Ricky Ponting, we hope to see more exciting catches and big hitting from Jordan in BBL|12!
